ICTAM conference in Montreal

Isaac and I were in Montreal to attend ICTAM 2016, the 24th International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. This conference is held every four years. We both gave talks on flying snakes, highlighting kinematics work from The Cube and Isaac's theoretical analyses of gliding. A large number of faculty from the department were there as well. Our department in fact was the only 'gold' sponsor of the conference!
