Isaac wins the Red Sock Award

Isaac won the award for best poster at the SIAM Conference on Dynamical Systems (DS 2017) in Snowbird, Utah. It was his second presentation award this year, quite a feat, indicative of the high quality of his research and presentation skills. Congrats Isaac!

The actual award is an unusual one, called the "Red Sock Award" for poster presentation in dynamical systems by a student or postdoc at the conference. Along with the honor (and some cash!), he actually received a pair of red socks. But unfortunately, he didn't sport them for a photo.

The poster's title was "Stability properties of flying snakes during transient glides." Gary Nave and Dr. Shane Ross were also authors.
