Lakirah arrives for summer research on frogs
Lakirah Walker arrived today to start her summer research on skittering frogs. Lakirah is a junior at Spelman College (in Atlanta), majoring in physics. She's working with mentor Talia Weiss on the locomotion of skittering frogs. She'll be analyzing data and setting up a new experiment in the lab, attempting to record skittering in a pool. We've had a hard time with that in the past, and are encouraged to try it again based on what we learned from a trip to India last summer.

Updates: some images below from her summer work in the lab and in the field
