

Talia wins APS travel grant
Today, Talia found out that she won a APS-IUSSTF Travel Grant to conduct frog locomotion work in India. This work will be done in collaboration with Dr. Sanjay Sane, a biomechanist at the National Centre for Biological Sciences in Bangalore. Congrats Talia!


Hodjat wins the Lanzendorf Hair Prize
The winner of this year's John J. Lanzendorf Hair Prize is: Hodjat Pendar, for his paper: Pendar, H. and J.J. Socha. 2015. SICB 2016 Portland
Another successful SICB conference. This year, Joel, Melissa, Khaled, Isaac, Sharri, Michelle, and Grant attended from the lab. Melissa and Grant presented posters, and Joel, Khaled, and Isaac gave talks. Lots of hard work -- already time to start getting ready for next year (in New Orleans).
